William Frenkel is the founding Principal and Chief Technology Officer at Pro-Found. He concentrates on technology strategies and component-based software development, and has lectured and been published on these topics. Bill has over 20 years of technical and financial management experience in industry including "Big Five" consulting. Bill is a self-described compulsive simplifier who feels that at the center of every complex problem lies a simple and elegant solution based on fundamental principles.

He earned a BS in Computer Science and an MS in Management/Finance from MIT. He is a member of the AICPA, NYSSCPA, ACM and IEEE Computer Society. In addition to his CPA certification, Mr. Frenkel holds a CDP and CSP from the ICCP (Institute for Certification of Computer Professionals) as well as a CDPA (Certified Data Processing Auditor).
